Fonterra's Heat Recovery Boiler in Te Awamutu failed which contributed to the plant having to shut down. We urgently manufactured and installed a temporary 20m stack for the relocated boilers.
Key Features:
- Our site services team completed the work over a weekend while Fonterra operated at a limited capacity.
- Manufactured and installed the new header and all interconnecting pipe work to two fire tube boilers.
- Pipework and installation were completed within two weeks to enable Fonterra to operate at full production levels.
- Due to the expertise of our site services crew the manufacture of the temporary stack was expedited and loss for Fonterra was minimised.
